Bed Shopping

So, along with a lot of other crappy things that have been happening lately, our bed broke three days ago.

 I would love to pretend that it was due to some crazy bedroom adventures - but reality is that we were taking the bed apart to prepare for the move and the head board fell and when it hit the ground it broke all apart.  We considered trying to salvage it and see if I could use wood glue to make it work- but then we noticed that the legs are actually splintering where they connect the frame together. So it is just a matter of time before the whole bed would collapse. If we were in the bed alone it's possible that we still would have used the bed - but since many nights we are joined by L'il Mac T, we think its best to just chuck out the broken mess.

That being said we are stuck with whether to buy a bed now or wait until we are settled in NB. We are torn  because here we can shop at Ikea and get a new bed ridiculously cheap- where as in NB we would be stuck shopping at furniture stores.  Needless to say, I am not particularly pleased with our Leons purchased previous bed, especially considering it was super expensive.

However we are not in the best place to be spending any money right now.

This is the bed I would like to get.. and Ikea is having a sale on beds until Sunday...
